Vehicle Detail
This is a 1965 Buick Wildcat Deluxe and is equipped with a 401 Nailhead and Th400 automatic transmission with sought after switch pitch, power steering, power breaks and bucket seats. The 401 also known as the 445 puts out 325 horsepower and 445 lbs of torque. The Nailhead comes with an Edlebrock 750 cfm 4 barrel carburetor with chrome Edlebrock air cleaner. Miles on the odometer are 38,000 (most likely 138,000). It is an original Californa car built at the GM plant in Fremont. Car runs strong and sounds great. The body is very straight with no dents or dings. Interior dash is in excellent shape. It comes with a clear title and is currently registered through June 2011. This is what’s been done so far: · Entire front end has been rebuilt · Front clip has been replaced with a front clip from a donor car · Front clip, and inner fenders were sandblasted, primed, and painted · New shocks all around · New motor mounts · New rear brakes and rear wheel cylinders · New dual exhaust with Magnaflows · Restored heater core · Entire interior was sanded, primed, and painted. All floors are completely solid and original. · Entire trunk floor and tail section has been replaced with solid sections from a donor car. All work was professionally done by Foley Bro’s Custom Works in Redwood City. · Buick Rally Wheels all around · All exterior trim is complete: photo is missing trim, but I have all pieces. · All interior trim, door panels, and seats are complete. · New plugs, wires, rotor, hoses, rubber fuel lines have all been replaced. · New power steering hoses · New battery, battery cables, and battery tray · Transmission has been flushed and serviced. · Rear end has been flushed and serviced. This is what it needs: · There is a small 2.5” section in the trunk missing where we came up short on the donor panel. A panel needs to be fabricated and welded in. · The panel between the rear window and deck lid needs to be replaced. I have a solid replacement panel ready to go and will be included in the sale. Currently the rear window is removed as I was prepping the car for this next step. · There is some bubbling and a bit of rust in the lower rear quarter panels that needs to be fixed. I was going to have this done with the panel above, but have not gotten to it. The rest of the car including the rockers and floors are solid. · Needs headliner, carpet, and upholstery work to finish the interior. · The new front windshield was just recently cracked by the owner of the garage I had it stored at. I’ve got about $3,000 in the body work already, $400 in the front end, $300 in the exhaust, and $350 for a deck lid I purchased from GM auto salvage. Make an offer. Here is a link to more pics. There are a few pics of the trunk and tail before the body work. Exterior trim at the tail is all back on the car. http://www.flickr.com/photos/11491113@N07/sets/72157625002360035/
