Vehicle Detail

1992 GEO TRACKER 4x4, 5 speed convertible Lift kit (4 inch), hardtop, new carpet, new seats, new 30 inch Kumho tires, and more! Rear ball hitch. Passed strict MD state safety inspection. Nearly $4000 put in over last 6 months. Let me make clear that this vehicle has a long list of previous owners. I do not know the exact history before I owned it. As is expected for a vehicle of this age, it will be sold as is and the buyer should expect cosmetic imperfections and wear and tear. That being said ther are no known mechanical problems. This drives and shifts solid and starts every time. Anything I think you should know before buying is listed further down. Recent History I bought this car in April with a goal of having a fun, small 4x4. All I knew about this car was listed in the carfax report. The last owner said that the engine had just been rebuilt. Over the last 6 months I have made the following improvements... New glass windsheild New Kuhmo offroad venture 30 inch tires - Also, new 30 inch spare on slightly different rim 1.5 inch hub spacers on each wheel. New carpet New racing seats Installed radio - This is an alpine head unit. I added an amplified under winshield antenae. I have not done anything with the speakers that were already in the doors. Lift kit - this came with a four inch body lift. Swapped it four a 2 inch body, then installed 2 inch suspension spacers, replaced rear struts. Now has a total of 4 inch lift and plenty of room for the 30 inch tires. You could even go a few inches bigger. New catalytic converter and new exhaust. New fuel injector. New front grill, front bumper, notice a SUZUKI emblem (I could not find a new geo emblem). New headlights New Calmini rear tube bumper Cleaned up the paint - this is certainly not show quality, but it still looks good because it is so bright and glossy. If you spend some time wet sanding and polishing you may be able to make look smoother and cleaner. Brand new custom built Astro Cap, 2 piece removable hardtop New ignition, battery, starter, and relay. Fires right up every time. New Rugged Ridge manual locking hubs. I will also include and extra set of stock hub lockers. This passed a strict MD safety inspection in June. The folding back seats will be included. I also have a soft bikini top. I have two keys that match ignition, all doors. I do not have a glove box key. Hardtop has locking keys too. This has had a recent tune up. It many other fixes that I did not list that were done in the shop. I will try to find all service records. I will include the Tracker/Samurai/Sidekick service manual that I have been using while working on the truck. The only fix that may be needed in the future is a transmission seal. After driving a few small drips of fluid may fall from under the transmission. Nothing major, and I have always kept the transmission fluid topped off. I would also replace the front bumper with a tube bumper that matches the rear from Calmini. I think it would fit better than the stock bumper with the lift. There is a slight weezing when the clutch is disengaged. According to the repair manual, this would be solved with a quick clutch adjustment. I never got around to doing this because it hasn't affected the function of the clutch. Just do not want the highest bidder to have any surprises. Also, note that there is an A/C button on the dash. However, this button is not connected to a working A/C. Again, sold AS IS. If you are very short, because of the lift and after market seats, you may have trouble shifting into 2nd when the seat is moved way up. I am 5'10" and there is no problem. My wife at 5'2'' had some trouble with the shifter rubbing the seat when she moved the seat way up. This is not a show car, so expect imperfections, but is certainly a solid unique little 4x4. It is ready to drive now, but also has potential to be an ultimate offroad machine. I bought this as toy but have not been able to spend much time with it other than all the time spent on upgrades. Just bought a house and my wife is baby crazy so it is time to sell. Thought it would be more useful making someone else happy than sitting in my garage. After all this work I have mostly only driven it around town. I did take it on one trip to the beach in September. The 4 wheel worked well in the sand, especially with the new large tires. I encourage you to look at this in person. Send me a message if you want to try and meet. 500 dollars due from paypal for a deposit with in 3 days. The rest should be in cash or money order. Clear MD title in hand. I have tried to describe this as best I can. Please feel free to ask questions. ***Relisted with LOWER RESERVE!
