Vehicle Detail

I Can't Believe I'm Selling This Car: This car recently went through a significant detailing since I was going to keep it forever. I’ve done this every 5 years or so since I bought it (with 7000 miles) in 1989. Prior to me, it was owned by the owner of our local gas station / repair shop. However, a job change, another child and the inevitable lack of time means I really haven't been able to enjoy it the last two years. I've owned and babied this car for 21 years and I never thought I would sell. I hate to see it sit around so I decided to sell it (of course my wife helped with that decision) to let someone else enjoy it and free up space in my garage. This car is beautiful. Always garaged, only driven in the summer. This car looks awesome inside and out, turns heads everywhere it goes. Paint looks awesome. My Dad borrowed the car for a week and asked me why young women were waving at him at stop-lights. Interior is all original and perfect. Runs excellent. Factory Options: Power Windows/locks, trunk Cruise control Concert Sound II AM/FM/Cassette Rear Defrost Others Maintenance Items: I have a master mechanic that has worked on this car since day 1. I have been religious about oil changes and standard maintenance. It had a new Turbo installed under warranty at ~26,000 miles. In the last 2000 miles, I have replaced the brake system, lines, pads and a host of other pieces and parts that have worn out with age. I recently replaced the Mass Air Flow sensor with an aftermarket that will last longer than the AC delco that came with it. To be completely 100% restored, it still needs a bit of work, but these are minor things. The cassette deck does not work (the radio does). The repair (for those of you who are comfortable opening up the deck) is simple. Parts are under $5 and I have instructions for the repair. Never got around to it because I don’t listen to tapes. The head-liner has come unglued, but is in good shape, but needs to be reattached. The factory-installed alarm does not work and it’s been bypassed. Everything else is working 100% to the best of my knowledge. As you can see in the picture, the tires will need to be replaced, but since I don’t drive in water or snow, these work fine for me. Upgrades: Stainless Steel exhaust with ultraflow mufflers. Upgraded computer chip (available) High flow fuel pump. New speakers in the rear. Wider tires and conversion kit to 16” wheels. (rides much better, handles better too). Upgraded to conventional Air Conditioning Also included: Car cover Original 15” Wheels (the chrome is poc marked with rust) Stock air box, filter & inlet hose (was taken off when K&N filter was installed, but I kept everything so it can easily be put back to stock) History: I have owned this car for over 21 years and babied it to the point that other people thought I was being ridiculous. Oil changed at least every 2000 miles using Mobil 1. Only premium fuel. Always garage kept and stored winters. I have driven this car on a 3000 mile trek about 8 years ago and it didn’t miss a beat. Has always been a reliable car and is the most fun to drive car I’ve ever owned. Questions: You can ask question on eBay or call me at 734 276 8966.
