This is a recently painted 1970 VW Bug. Convertible. It has not been driven in several months and is in need of a new battery and carb adjustment. Features a 1600cc Dual Port motor with Dual Kadron Carbs.The engine is in need of tune up and possibly a new distributer. The car was torn down, painted and reassembled. There are many new items, seals and lenses, running boards etc. The carpet is brand new and still needs to be glued down. The top is new as well as front windshield, seal and rear window seal. The interior is in decent shape but could, for cosmetic reasons, stand replacing. No major tears or blemishes. Still, I would list this car as a small project as the things that need fixing do not effect driving or safety. Does include headlight rings and drivers door trim but no bumpers. The few things that need attention' such as the carpet and motor, aren't out of the reach of the shade tree mechanic or restorer. If you have any specific questions, please ask. I feel this car has had the bulk of the work needed over the last year but will need a bit of tlc to get going again.
