Vehicle Detail

Not to many of these '66's left~ even fewer of the Roadster. 'Ol Blue is #15574 off the line in the Fall of 1965. Great for an off frame restoration. I purchased this truck in Georgia (no salt or snow) 12 years ago and have driven it across the country a couple of times. Most of the work i've done to it is in the under carriage. Hooker headers, with dual mufflers, Front disk brakes- Drum in the rear, 3.5 inch rock crawler coil springs and 11 pack leaf springs both mfg by Wild Horses. RS9000 Rancho five way adjustable shocks all the way around. There are also welds for a second shock absorber in the front (picture). Newer (still stiff) bump stops and bushings. 23 Gallon steel fuel tank, matched drop pitman and Optima yellowtop battery (recharge even if 2VDC-less than a year old-Awesome!) The rear drive shaft was custom reinforced by Atlanta Drive line. Unfortunately, This auction does NOT include the front drive shaft, but I assure you the 4 wheel drive DOES work. Dana 30 in the front, Dana 44 in the rear, NP4 on the floor. I will include back bench seat, fair condition original front seats (drivers seat leans), wiper motor, old fender flares, push bar and bikini top. Floor pans and door jams are still about 90% there! (Those are usually the first to go on Early Bronco's- That they are still there should indicate the level of care throughout her 44 years) I have parked this truck 3 times for more than a year and it's '69 Fairlane 302 started right up each time. BEAST! I have a double barrel edelbrook carb on it, for fuel efficiency, but for power you may want a 4 barrel or electronic fuel ingnition- efi. This truck is 95% rust and bondo free! I wouldn't be to surprised if the 28,000 miles on the odometer is actual. 'Ol Blue has passed emissions tests in Colorado and Texas. I should have cleaned up the engine and under carriage for this sale- Any oil or other fluids that you see are a result of not breaking the new seals in on differentials and axles. Transfer has oil from oil pan drain plug splatter. I have only driven this truck 7k miles or so in the last 12 years due to military deployments. BLUE, SOUNDS AND RUNS GREAT! CAN BE A DAILY DRIVER - with power steering. This truck is 70% done! Only easy and fun stuff left to do. What it needs- power steering and a new clutch plate- What is left to do- power brakes, a/c, wheel spacers, new fender flares (or repair the ones that are included with truck), front drive shaft, EFI, some wiring and better paint. ( Current paint is blemish free from 5ft and further back, but at 3ft a few short runs may appear, however they are not obvious. Inside and under the hood is rough and will need paint. GREAT FAMILY BONDING TIME! This IS a $10,000 classic! In ten years it will double in value. I REALLY hate to get rid of 'Ol Blue, but I need cash for another investment and my health has prevented me from enjoying this Stomper. There may even come a time when I try to buy it back from you like Papa Jhns owner :) I reserve the right to sell locally and remove from Ebay anytime. Bidders with less than 10 feedback should contact me before bidding. The above description is an honest account of this vehicles condition and will be sold as is/ where is. Georgia doesn't require or keep records of titles prior to 1981, so I don't have one pers se. Nebraska DMV wanted me to get a bond title or to petition the court to issue a new Nebraska title, but I simply just have a title for another EBR to make registration easy. You're state may have different regulations. I was going to have it done in Texas, where a dmv rep would just verify 1 Vin plate and the bill of sale then issue a title-- but I didn't-- I will provide VIN# only to bidders. I will also be happy to help winning bidder follow through with getting a clear title. I have contact information for 2 previous owners. IF YOU HAVE BID and want more pictures, email me and I will send a link to download more un-retouched photos. Please do not send an email asking what my reserve is... I will just default to 'what's the most your willing to pay?' Thank you for looking, Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Bidding!
