I am offering for bid my 1964 BMW R69S Motorcycle. I did an extensive restoration on this 3 years ago and have never ridden it much since. The engine was rebuilt years ago by Amol Precision in Dumont NJ. I have lost the paperwor from those days. The bike sat in a barn for a number of years after that. I had to do the top end over again. The barells were bored and 3rd oversize pistons fitted. I sent the heads to Randy Long and he went through them. I have installed an Aluminum flywheel that I got from Martin Kornhaus in Germany. I am using an aluminum aftermarket points plate that uses GM points and condensor. I think it is a big improvement and will include a picture. The frame and all other colored parts (except fenders and tanks) Have been powdercoated. the shocks and springs are all new with new silent blocks. All tainless Steel hardware including the axles, pinch bolts. All the aluminum parts have been polished. Complete new wireing harness. New seat cover. The wheels have new bearings , Chrome Hub Caps , Stainless Steel Rims and Spokes , Stainless bearing retainers , New Seals. I had chrome engine covers , air filter , front brake housing , and rear swing arm so I put them on. The large gas tank on the bike is a fiberglass tank I beklieve made in England, it holds 7 or so gallons. There is a standard 4.5 gal tank included with the bike. This bike runs and rides very nicely. I will probably regret selling it but have too many. Full payment will be cash or bank draft check in 7 days from the auction. The exhaust pipes are stainless from Epco and the mufflersare Hoske type sport mufflers from S. Meyer in Germany. They have a nice sound and are not real loud like the originals. The handle bars are Maguera sport bars with custom made stainless riser mounts.
