Hello. Thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering trade-in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. I personally drive each vehicle before I list it. All vehicles are sold on ebay with NO RESERVE. I describe each vehicle honestly and give a complete account of everything I know about each car...good and bad. All potential buyers are encouraged to ask all questions before bidding. I will try my best to arrange a mutual time to meet so that you can kick the tires all you want. Now for todays offering... Today we have a beautiful 1996 BMW 740iL with only 111,700 miles! This car shows almost new and was a new Lexus trade. Pride in ownership shows throughout in this awesome BMW. I have owned several 740's in my time. It is honestly my opinion that the BMW 740 is the best car for the money on the market today, period! Their blend of size, power, price, equipment and reliability are unrivaled among other used cars. Simply put, I have not found another automobile that can provide this much fun and comfort for four adults ever. An S Class Mercedes provides the same fun and comfort but at a much higher price to maintain. Anyway, this 740 looks amazing. The paint shines deeply all around and you would be very hard pressed to find a single flaw with the exterior of this one! Let the photos speak for themselves. This model is the "long wheelbase" version offering superior leg room for rear passnegers without sacrificing the comfort of the front passengers. There is no rust, no scratches, no scuffs and no dents. It is riding on a correct and matching set of Michelin tires, too. All the glass is in tact. This car looks amazing from any angle and is sure to draw compliments from the neighbors! The inside of this car is as well kept as the outside. The seats, carpets and headliner are all in great condition. A small tear in the upper backrest of the drivers seat is the only thing I could find wrong with the interior. The leather is supple and comfortable throughout. The original first aid kit is still in the proper compartment. This BMW is equipped with the usual power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof. There are some optional features on this car that you don't usually find all together in one car, too. As far as I know, this one has every option including the cold weather package which includes heated seats, steering wheel and mirrors. It has the warm weather package which give you the rear shades. Lastly, it has front and rear park distance controls which alert the driver to close range obstacles. The stereo sounds great and has the factory CD changer in the trunk and the optional premium sound which includes subwoofers. The factory alarm and keyless entry still work. The electronic trunk closer still works, too. Mechanically this car is sound. The engine starts right up and runs smoothly. I have not found any leaks at all. The engine make plenty of power and shoots this rocket down the highway without breaking a sweat. The suspension, steering and brakes are all tight and perform as they should. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts are absolutely perfect! I drove this car for about four hours before I listed it and it drives great. The temperature stays right where it should and its road manners are great. There are no warning lights on. With just 111,000 miles on the clock, this BMW has lots left to give. With proper care this car should go another 100k easily before major service is needed. Please bid with confidence...this is a great car. This is a great opportunity to own a great BMW. If you've been shopping for one of these you will know it is hard to find one like this! There are several 740's for sale but to find one with these miles, in this condition and with all the options doesn't happen often. How many iL's are out there with low miles, excellent paint, shades, heated seats and PDC? (not many). There is a $99 fee that will be added to the final bid amount. I am willing to pick up the winning bidder at BWI, MDT or the local bus station...just check with me before you buy your ticket to make sure your arrival time works for me. I can deliver for $1 per loaded mile or I will cooperate with your shipper if you want to use your own shipper. Again, make sure you ask questions before you place your bid...not after.
