Vehicle Detail
Perfect Running Car that you can drive home with even if you live across country. And more good news about the mileage its actually more like 138,000 miles due to the fact that I had the Dash Instrument Cluster replaced, as I thought that would fix my speedometer which stopped working, found out later that its just the speedometer cable that needed replacing. I have proof of selling my old instrument cluster which had around 137,000. I've had this car 4 years and have tried to restore it to its classic working condition. I have only put around 1,000 miles a year on it and have only driven it locally. Right power window regulator was replaced and now both power windows operate perfectly. The thin metal antenna was replaced with a more powerful low profile bendable antenna. The original stereo system will be given to you, it was replaced with a 100w. Pyramid 3in1 stereo player cd/cassette. Along with 4 Tri-way speakers and 4 boxed speakers located in the trunk for a total of 8 speakers. Custom fit leather BRA. Custom carpeted dashmat. 4 custom fit carpets for front and back. Chrome custom gas pedals. Self adhesive custom cut chrome kit that I never got around to installing and a leather custom cut (yellow) interior makeover kit never installed. I have most of the receipts for the nearly $5,000 of work I put into this car. All the pipes on the under-carriage up to the manifold were replaced along with the muffler with shiny new parts. Sport Max 20" 10- Spoke Chrome Wheels and nice wide and fat racing tires:(Federal 595 Super Sport- 245-40zr18; 10" Wide Low Profile Radials. I don't have the original rims. Following is a list of things done with the engine. Driver side Ball-joint replaced. Oxygen sensor replaced. ECU Replaced and upgraded. All engine gaskets replaced. Distributor and cap and rotor replaced. Water pump replaced. Fuel pump replaced. Valve timing tensioner replaced. Engine flushed out and oil replaced with synthetic oil. New cylinder head and camshaft seals. New head gaskets and Serpentine belt. Brake pads replaced. A/C and Heating work perfectly fine as well as the front and rear defrosters. Has recently had a tune-up and has passed state inspection. This car handles really well and does not shake at high speeds on the freeway. Everything works as it should. A few things that are wrong: 1. Small opening under the new stereo system which should be covered up, you can use the included Chroming kit to do that, and the power button came out which you might be able to glue it back in, I always have the stereo on anyways and just use the mute button. 2. Small 1" slit on rear armrest which can be repaired easily. 3. Rear window wiper motor is going out and will only run the rear wiper a little bit. 4. There are a few imperfections on the body from a car of 17 years old, but no major scratches and no big dents. Low $1,000 reserve price. Buyer must pick up the car and is sold as is. It will get you were you are going. On Nov-22-10 at 11:00:01 PST, seller added the following information:A few things I forgot to mention: 1. I also had installed an Alarm System which comes with 2 remotes for locking and unlocking the doors,(keyless entry) and for activating the alarm, it also helps you find your car in a big parking lot. 2. The gas guage sticks at around a half tank and will not move down any further than that, but it does go all the way up to the full level when filling it. If you let the gas tank get below half a tank you must rely on the low gasoline light which comes on when you get down to a couple of gallons.
