Up for auction is a great running 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9L V8 Magnum Engine and the 46RE 4 speed automatic transmission. The truck is a extended cab (4 opening doors, but front doors need to be opened first) with a short bed, white in exterior color with a gray cloth interior. The truck is also a sport package, which includes a different grille, front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, and decals. This package is very popular and quite rare. The truck is equipped with power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, rear wheel ABS, Dodge bed liner, and sliding rear window. The air conditioning blows cool and the heat blows hot. As you can see from the pictures, this truck has some rust along the bottom of the front doors, and on the very tops of the wheel wells. This type of rust is very typical of dodges, and is not difficult to repair. The frame, interior, and engine bay are as good as it gets on a 2001. The only flaw on the interior is the dash bezel has a crack. The dash itself is not cracked, just the bezel (that covers your radio, gauge cluster, heater controls, etc.) The engine bay looks new. The frame has some light surface rust starting but no rot or scale. The tires have about 50% tread on the BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A's. The front end is tight and the front and rear brakes of plenty of life. This truck would have no problem passing state inspection. No codes for engine, transmission, body, or airbag systems. No drips or leaks, all maintenance was taken car of on time. I own the truck free and clear and the title is in hand. Kelley Blue Book estimates this truck being worth about 5,550 in FAIR condition. Meaning: Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. Tires may need to be replaced. There may be some repairable rust damage.I would almost put this truck in good condition because there are no mechanical defects, has a clean title, and the tires are good. Just has some easily repaired common Dodge rust.
