ORIGINAL 1965 MORRIS MINI MINOR 850 Rust free original 1965 Morris Mini Minor 850. First cousin to the Austin Mini Seven 850. Recently imported from New Zealand. We found this to be a totally rust free original Mini with badly faded original paint, interior, etc. George repainted the Mini completely in the original sand beige color. He detailed the engine and underside. Please view the before and after photos. The 850 motor runs like a dream, does not knock, run hot or make any unusual noises. The transmission shifts smoothly, does not jump out of any gear or make any unusual noises. Original floor starter button (see photo) The interior is all original and is decent, but being 45 years old, it is a bit dry in some areas. Newton commercial, in the UK, sells complete original reproduction seat covers. I will provide the buyer with their website info. New seat covers would complete the hard work already begun to bring this Mk 1 Mini back to its former glory. The photos tell the story. What you see is what you get and what you are getting is one great little rust free Mk 1 Mini you can drive daily while getting 40+mpg. This Mini is very capable of winning a trophy at any British car meet or any car show! Presently this Min is on the original NZ registration documents, but a clear SC title can be obtained if the buyer requests one. There is no extra charge for an SC title. The wheelcovers are one piece, not 2 as stated in the description earlier. My mistake, sorry.
