Vehicle Detail

Red 1995 Pontiac Trans Am 300hp aluminum head V8 LT-1 with 4L60E automatic will 111,000 miles. Nice car with clean paperwork but needs engine work. Does not currently run. I bought this car in 2004 after it was in a light front end accident with a busted nose. I spent the next couple years "fixing it up". I got a new GM bumper cover and original salvage yard hood and headlight, etc. Also installed new airbags & windshield. Had it painted. Then installed a K&N free flow air filter system, replaced the front brake pads, most new belts and hoses. At that point I had it in nice shape and was running and driving great. After driving it for about a month, it overheated on me on the interstate one day. I had it towed home and parked it in my garage where it has sat untouched for the last 3 years. I suspect it blew a head gasket or cracked a head. I have never tore into it and don't want to. For about a year after it overheated, it would still start and run and I would start it regularly but over the winter it sat and got to where it would not run. Still cranks over fine but doesn't fire. I know the tank if full of gas so I am not sure why it don't fire. It is a beautiful car and has had a lot of work done to make it a nice clean car. If you can fix the engine, you are ready to go. It is far to nice a car to junk or part out. Would make a great race car or cheap sports car if you have mechanical abilities and time to repair it. I have over $6500 investing in this car but am willing to cut my losses. I don't have time to work on it and it is just sitting here. Was always a middle Tennessee car. The interior shows some wear but is still very presentable. Driver seat has the most wear from people getting in and out. All power options work great. CD player is very good. A/C was blowing cold. Dash has some spider web cracking in the cover of the airbag but otherwise interior is nice. The exterior is sharp. It is not show. This is a 15 year old car, but the paint is slick and shiny. The front bumper cover is perfect. There is a small dent in the driver quarter below the gas filler. It is hard to notice, but if you look at the car at an angle, it is there. No damage to paint.Feel free to ask any questions. My loss is your gain here. This is a sharp and nice car. LT1 parts or plentiful and would be easy project for a qualified mechanic.Deposit due immediately after auction and balance due within one week. Must be paid in cash or possible paypal before it is picked up.
