Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1958 Austin Healey 100-6 BN4 4-seater 4 speed with overdrive with 2 port cylinder head. I am certain that the buyer of this car will not be disappointed. It is in beautiful shape and I believe that there are very few cars like this out there that have been restored so completely. The pictures say it all- what you see is exactly what you will get- a clean rust-free car complete with every original detail and a beautiful paint job. This car has been completely professionally restored just recently. Restoration finished a couple of weeks ago, and I just did a couple of test runs around the block. The body of the car has been to a sand blast shop and completely cleaned of any rust. Afterward has been cleaned with special chemicals and primed. The body pieces that have been changed are as follows: floor panels and the trunk panel, as well as the rocker panels. The car was painted two times, and a clear coat was added on top and it was polished beautifully. Most of the mechanical pieces are original, the only things that are new are things like seals and bushings. Everything has been professionally rebuilt and each piece is shiny and looks brand new, including every bolt and nut. All the chrome pieces on the car are in very good shape, a lot of pieces have been rechromed. Some pieces are new. All complete interior seat covers, door panels, and carpeting are new, as well as the trunk carpeting. The car has a new gas tank, new chrome rims, new tires, new convertible top, new side curtains, new windshield, and new lights. Engine was rebuilt by a classic car engine specialist. It was completely restored and runs great. The entire brake system is new. It is a beautiful blue and white combination that suits this car very well. Title: I have a certificate of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust that shows the factory record. The car is registered in California, all DMV fees paid up-to-date and I am the registered owner and carry the registration. I'm pretty sure I'm the second owner of this car, and its been a California car. Payment: At the end of the auction, there is a $500 non-refundable deposit required via paypal. The rest should be paid as a cashier's check or wire transfer. Please note that the funds must be cleared before I release the car to you or a carrier. I also accept cash in hand. Shipping: Shipping must be arranged and paid by the buyer. GOOD LUCK! HAPPY BIDDING!
