Vehicle Detail

BARN FRES!, Here is a very nice 1938 Pontiac 2 door sedan. I purchased this car from the family of the original owner. The inspection sticker reads 1966, That's right 1966.This car is 100% original a barn fresh beauty. The car has ONLY 25,340 miles and it looks it.This car is rock solid with NO rust or dents. Although then paint is worn and has some chips it shine very nice. It looks like ther might have been some paint work over the years but for the most part this car has its original paint and it looks good. One running board has some rust that is it.The interior seat covers the were installed in the 1950s but are in very good condition also the front door panels were cover in black vynl at that time . The head liner is worn and is starting to split at one of the seams. The bumpers are straight but could use re chroming The glass is starting to fog but there are no cracks. This car has all the options that were offer in 1938 a heater that works well and a radio that lights up but, there is no sound. This car has many new parts including fuel pump, carburator, water pump, tires, battery, and the gas tank was cleaned. From what I been told by Pontiac fans , it was very rare for a 2 door sedan to have a straight 8 and here it is and it runs very well. The horn button is not shown in the pictures but I do have it . It will not stay on something is missing or broke. I really don't know if this car should be restored or just leave as the BARN FRESH BEAUTY that it is. Please email with any question . Inspection is available by appointment. On Nov-13-10 at 18:32:25 PST, seller added the following information: BARN FRESH! Here is a very nice 1938 Pontiac 2 door sedan.
