THIS VAN RUNS GREAT. I HAVE 2 CARS AND I DON'T NEED 2 CARS. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A CONVERSION VAN THAT CRUISES REALLY WELL, OR A WORK VAN, THIS WOULD BE ONE TO CONSIDER. THE PRICE IS RIGHT. 1999 Ford E150 van. 4.6 liter triton V8. LA West Conversion. I bought this van in early Spring to be used for camping trips. Our last camping trip this year was mid-September and I can’t justify having 2 cars, so the van must go. Just put 520 miles round trip with zero problems...AC and Cruise Control work great. 7 passenger-4 captain chairs and 3 person bench seat. Outside of van is dark brown. Interior is beige. Mileage is 119,500, could change a little. April 2010 New brakes, front and rear. New Emergency brake. The van comes with a remote key that unlocks all the doors. There are 2 keys that unlock the rear side door and the driver’s door. The key locks on the rear barn doors and the front passenger door do not work with a key. They can be locked and unlocked manually from the inside, or with the remote. PA inspection through March 2011 Power locks inside the van work properly AC works properly. Front and rear AC work properly. Cruise control works properly. Heater works properly. All windows work properly. Three slider windows in the rear have screens. All curtains work properly except rear passenger side curtain is always down. Rear bench folds into bed. There is also a third cushion behind the bench which extends the bed out all the way to the rear doors. All arm rests function properly. Power mirrors work properly. Power seat works properly. Inside is clean. No dogs. No smoking. Van has cassette player, no cd. Power port works properly. New full size spare tire underneath rear of van, rim is rusty. The driver’s door pinches the front of the van, and there is a little body damage there. I rarely use that door and have never inquired about fixing it. It looks a little rough there...see photo. All glass is in good shape, no cracks. Van has interior lights around in the ceiling and around roof line that all work properly. Driver seat has a seam tear about 6 inches long, doesn’t bother me. The rest of the seats are in good shape, no other tears except a minor one on an arm rest. Carpet may have a spot here and there, nothing major at all. Rear left barn door has a couple of deep scratches. Heavy duty trailer hitch with wires. I never used it, but previous owner said it worked. Prior to me purchasing, the van had the following work done: Feb 2010 Transmission fluid and filter were changed. New upper and lower ball joints and alignment. Autumn 2009 new battery and alternator. Engine was flushed and radiator and water pump were replaced. Ford had a recall on the catalytic converter and it was replaced with a brand new one. The running boards were removed by prior owner. A rubberized undercoating was sprayed around the whole van about 3 inches up on all the fenders, rocker panels, and inside the doors. This covered all the areas where the running boards were and is a solid sealant. This is a very solid van that cruises very nicely. A few quirks here and there, but this van runs great.
