Thanks to the inaction of false buyer I am again offering via NO RESERVE AUCTION a 1977 AMC Barcelona Coupe. If you have less than a 100% buyer rating and/or fewer than 5 positive feedback ratings you must contact me via eBay or your bid will not be accepted. The Barcelona has been parked in dry, inside storage since 1989. With a fully charged battery the engine (360 V8) will fire if the carburetor is hand-primed. As you may imagine, any fuel remaining in the fuel tank has long since gone stale. I cannot attest to the viability of the automatic transmission, brakes or any power accessories as I have not driven this vehicle since I acquired it in 2005. It is being sold strictly as a project car and a rolling chassis and is NOT roadworthy. It would make good starting point for a Barcelona restoration or serve as an excellent donor car. No warranty on any components is stated or implied. A full professional repaint has taken place sometime in the car's past. It shows no body rust however the rear bumper is rusted through in the usual passenger-rear corner. The vinyl top is in good condition but shows some cracks around the perimeter of the opera windows. All of the lights and signals appear to work properly. The dashboard and door panels are in good condition and the seats and carpeting show wear appropriate for the stated mileage. It comes with 4 matching sport rims with the correct wheel centers and trim rings. I cannot attest to the age of the tires. A $350 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction with balance due via cash, cashier's check or certified check within 7 days of close. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, but I will gladly work with you or your shipping agent to accommodate pickup. I will provide up to 30 days of inside storage at no cost following close of auction. The vehicle is located approximately 1 hour north of Columbus, Ohio.
