Bidders, If you have questions please ask. I will do my best to answer each of them. This is a vintage 1965 Mustang Fastback in need of a total restoration. The Mustang has been off the road for approximately 5 years. The previous owner bought the car, drove it home, and then disassembled it for restoration. The Fastback just sat after that. It is a pretty solid car that does need new floor pans and some spots fixed around the cowl. In addition you have the standard rusted out area where the battery tray was and poor quality paint that is flaking off in places. The car comes with all the major parts. Those include the non-number matching, disassembled 289, 2v V8(see pictures). C4 Auto, black interior with a nice headliner, perfect tinted glass all around, and new front fenders. Major missing items are the gas tank and hood locking mechanism. Door tag indicates that this Fastback was built on Jan 25, 1965 in Dearborn, MI and then delivered to Memphis. The original color was honey gold with the light ivy gold interior trim. It is an original C code V8 car, 289, 2v with the C4 automatic transmission and 2.80 rear gears. At one point in its life it was gold and white and now is black. I believe the current odometer reading of 58655 is correct but that can not be verified. The last documented miles I have (34552) are from the 1988 title.These Mustangs are getting harder to find, especially ones that are easily restorable and have most of the parts.
