Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering trade-in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. I drive each of my vehicles so that I am familiar with it before I list it here on ebay. All of my auctions are NO RESERVE to make buying a car as close to wholesale as possible. I describe each vehicle honestly and with complete disclosure of all known conditions. Most of the vehicles I sell are over 10 years old and have over 100,000 miles so please be realistic. I am human. Before placing a bid, please be sure that you have cash readily available to back up your bids. I try to be as thorough as possible with my photographs and descriptions but questions are always welcomed. If you are local to York, PA and would like to see this or any of my inventory in person just let me know. I will do everything I can to arrange a personal visit for you. On to todays auction... Today we have a nice old Mercedes-Benz up for a NO RESERVE auction. They absolutely don't make cars like this anymore! We have a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300E finished in brown over parchment here that will go to the highest bidder. This Benz is in great shape for a 20 year old car. Walking around the car you will see that the original paint shines well. Finding an older Mercedes without rust is rare but this is one! The front lower spoiler is cracked as shown in the photos. The cladding on one of the drivers side doors is scuffed and has a crack on the bottom. The cladding on one of the passenger doors looks to be a slightly different shade than the rest of the car so I'd assume it was replaced or repainted at some point. All the glass is in tact. There is no rust anywhere that I could find. The tires have plenty of tread left. This will make a great driver for someone who drives a lot. Rust normally gets these cars before the engines quit so you should get plenty of life out of her. Inside the car is pretty clean for a 1991. The seats show minimal wear throughout and are very comfortable. The carpets could use a cleaning but are in good shape and have no holes or major wear. There is some minor cracking of the wood trim down by the window switches which is common with age. All of the electronics works. The windows work, both power seats work, the rear headrests work and the power sunroof works perfectly. The automatic climate control also works great. There are no warning lights on in the cluster. This Benz is a great driver and is very comfortable on the highway. You can really feel the weight of the car when you drive it. The car even still has the factory AM/FM Cassette player. The trunk is cavernous and clean, too. Mechanically this car is good. The Mercedes inline six cylinder starts right up. These engines are known to go in excess of 300,000 miles with proper care. I could find no leaks or puddles under the car. The engine does not smoke or overheat. Driving down the highway, the engine keep a nice cool temp and held good oil pressure. The transmission shifts great for a 20 year old car, too. It barrells down the highway strait and without issue. The suspension and steering feel tight and the brakes are strong. The only complaint is a small hole in the muffler that makes the exhaust slightly louder. It's not horrible but it's noticable. The odometer reads 156910 and is working fine but the car will be sold TMU (true miles unknown) due to a previous odometer issue. I would hop in this car and drive it anywhere without hesitation! Nice old Benz's are hard to find that aren't all rusted out anymore. Don't miss this one! New ones are nice but they just don't feel the same on the road as these do. If you've driven both you know what I mean. A $99 fee will be added to the final bid for administrative and processing costs. I am happy to pick the winning bidder up at BWI, MDT or the local bus station here in York. I will also cooperate with your shipper if you aren't local. Again, please ask all questions before you bid. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding on this nearly classic Benz!
