Vehicle Detail
This is a 2007 Honda Rebel CMX250. I bought this bike new from the dealership in March of '08. It has 10,8XX miles on it as of now. After market parts are Jardine exhaust pipes, a 30 tooth rear sprocket (original was a 33 tooth) Biltwell handle bars, drag specialties bullet turn signals, fork boots, and some foot pegs I made for it. Im 6' and 180#, and for a little 250 this bike gets up and goes pretty good. Its not a very powerful bike, but it will scoot you around town just fine. It will do 65-70 ok as long as your not in a head wind, but this thing wasn't built to haul ass either. Its great for in town and short trip commutes. It gets anywhere from 60-70 mpg on the freeway. I have the front fender and mirrors for it, its just not on the bike in the pics. This bike does have a few cosmetic issues. On the bottom lip of the rear fender, I managed to scratch the paint off of both sides when I took the fender off, I thought it would clear the mounts, but didn't. I was going to change the fender to a different one, and ended up not. This can be seen in the pictures. My own stupid mistake. This bike was also tipped over in a parking lot one time, I came out from the store and it had been moved. Someone had tipped it over on the right side. The only damage it did was crack the rear turn signal housing. The front left turn signal lens is missing as well, but these can be easily replaced, I just haven't done it. It could also use a new front tire. This bike still runs excellent. I have always taken care of it mechanically and changed the oil every 1000 miles. This bike starts right up on the choke, but takes a while to warm up. I leave the choke about half on for a mile or so when I ride it until it warms up good. From what I have read all Rebels are this way, its been that way since new. This has been an excellent bike and always gotten me home. Its a very good starter bike for someone that wants to learn how to ride. It handles really good and whips around the corners like nothing. This bike lists on Kelly Blue Book at $2190. But because of the paint damage and mileage I'm not expecting to get that out of it, but it does have at least $500 in ad ons, so thats something to consider as well. I have a clean Washington title in hand for this bike. Must be picked up in Kennewick, Washington. Can pay with paypal or cash in person.
