1992 Pontiac Firebird 1992 Pontiac Firebird 5.0L V8 Runs Good, Accelerates Fast As It should Carburetor (Averages 15 mpg) Automatic Transmission ( Shifts Well ) Power Windows Power Mirrors Cruise Control What it needs Primer job or professional respray / paint job will be needed. since the car is 18 years old the paint has faded, Some of clear coat is peeling. On the up side the body is straight with the exception of a couple of minor dings or dents on the side of the driver side fender. Things to maybe fix or leave as is Driver side headlight motor not working - headlight can be manually raised up and down with turn knob. Passenger side headlight raises up and down on its own. The tilt steering wheel seems to have more up and down play than it should when locked into place and the steering wheel needs to be pushed down for the ignition switch to engage. Once engaged, the steering wheel can be let go of and the ignition switch will remain on. Despite the steering wheel issue, car steers fine, power steering works good. Driver side seat leans way back, farther than it should. The driver seat has been moved to the passenger side because of this, the passenger seat is now on the driver side, no lean back with the passenger seat. A positive note is none of the seats have any rips, front or rear. A/C not working, don't know if it needs a recharge or something more, the stuff for the A/C appears to be there under the hood. No stereo - bought the car 2 years ago without one and never got around to installing one, the factory GM connector is there which has the power and speaker wires and is compatible with a lot of different GM stereos. The title (pink slip) is salvage, don't know the reason, was from previous owner. There are no signs of an accident, car handles well, vehicle history report shows no accidents, flood damage, or damage of any kind - check it out Now the Good This car is worth investing in, it always starts right up, idles well, the engine and transmission do not need any servicing. I believe what will sell this car is the test drive around the block, but will need to be careful because of the registration.
