After a yearlong search, I bought this low mile 1984 Ferrari Mondial Cabrioilet 7 years ago on eBay. It was delivered new to the original owner at the factory in Italy and was owned by that family until 8-2003 when a friend of their family bought it. Due to his slow business, he sold it to me on 10-25-2003. I am the third owner. Car runs and drives great. I've since had a knee replacement and need the other replaced so I have driven it very little. It sits in my heated garage, covered and has a trickle charger on the battery. Since I have owned it I have replaced the clutch master and slave hydraulic cylinders and just today changed the oil(Mobil 1) and filter. I've seen some Mondials with 140mph speedos...don't know why. Mine has a 180mph speedo. Bringing it home, 100 miles north of LA on vacant open I-5 I drove the car at 90mph sustained speeds and took it up to 140 where it was still pulling. I guess it should do 150 or so. The car is original, never hit and never any rust. Had the Michelin tires and soft top replaced about a year before I bought it and also has the major 30K service done then. The top still looks new. It has Ferrari fender badges, 2 leather tool kits and the Ferrari factory workshop manual. Has Blaunpounkt San Francisco CD player. I didn't take many pictures as I have limited skills and it was starting to rain. To see really excellent pictures look at auction # 130443645084 and view theirs. It is EXACTLY the same as mine except it is a year newer giving it a 3.2 engine...mine is a 3 liter. Mine has a few less miles and is a lot less money.
