For sale is a 1955 Buick Super 4dr Sedan that is very rare in that it has a standard 3 speed transmission instead of the popular dynaflow transmision. The car is also equipped with power steering. It is a rust free car that had it's origin in Kansas. We have kept it in our heated display area since 1986 and have only driven it to a few car shows in the late eighties. The Buick V8 runs, however will need help for the engine to operate as it should reliably. The chrome grill, top grill bar, front and rear bumpers are in good condition. All the stainless and chrome body, door, and windshield trim are in very good condition without any dents. The dash is in good condition, the speedometer has been replaced and shows 14539 miles which I am sure is not correct. All the window glass is in very good condition except for a small crack in the passenger door window. The chrome on the steering wheel, left headlight bezel, tail light housings, and trunk handle show some pitting. The trunk interior needs to be replaced. The front and rear seat upholstery and both the front and rear floor carpets are good. The interior door and window hardware are in very good condition. The car was repainted before we aquired it but having always been in an inside storage is still is in good condition without having any body dents. This Buick is in good shape over all and with a bit of engine attention could be an excellent tour car having plenty of interior and trunk room.
