1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible This is a nice restoration project for someone with the skills & time, It is a 1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible with a 351 v8 & an automatic transmission Power Disk Brakes & Bucket Seats, the car runs good and shifts fine, All the glass is in good condition ( the convertible top has a glass window as well), the interior & the convertible top is in good shape as someone re-did it about 5 yrs ago & then I bought it on ebay with plans of restoring it for my wife & have never had the time to do it. I have had the car inside storage up until about 4 months ago. I do not want to see the car just sit anymore & would like for it to have the opportunity to be restored & back on the road. The car is from Ohio & has what I call major rust issues. The rockers and the rear quarters , there is rust in the lower door jams ,it has rust all around & floor pan needs attention. The trunk feels solid. The car has a power convertible top & is all there and works. These are beautiful cars when restored but I don't have the time or place to do it. I am describing this car to the best of my knowledge & like people to know what they are bidding on as I would. I am not trying to run the car down but it is not a 1 week project & back on the road ( at least not for me ) This will be a great car & fun to enjoy after you are done. This would also be a great parts car if you have a solid shell & need all the other parts to put it together. Please only bid if you are serious & can follow through. Please ask all questions before bidding. The car is sold as is where is. I will assist with shipping when they want to pick it up. I have a lot into this car with buying, shipping & storing this but I don't expect to get all that back (some would be nice lol) Thanks for checking out the auction.
