Engine Fire November 2009 changed everything. I had great plans for this, but now I'm leaving Washington and I don't have the time or money to fix. August 2008 I went to VW show in Yakima and it did great over mountains and all. The roof currently doesn't have the brackets attached but I do have them (there is no roof canvas). Through the years there has been some body changes (original turn signals removed). Great project. So no misunderstandings, IT IS NOT DRIVABLE, THE ENGINE NEEDS REPLACED OR REBUILT!
