*Buy It Now and Reserve Price Lowered* Priced To Sell! I recently purchased and hauled this Vintage 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger Super Cab from Colorado to Wisconsin. It is a solid, original, western truck, that runs and drives very well. I thought someone in the Midwest (where a truck of this age would have rotted to pieces by now) may appreciate this survivor that was manufactured in an era when trucks were built to last. The body was straight and clean, but the paint was faded so I removed all the trim and had it repainted with (just got it back from the shop on 9/26/10) the factory color. Now it's a classy, sharp looking truck that turns heads wherever it goes. I was going to keep it and turn it into a unique Wisconsin Badger tailgating truck, but have too many projects to enjoy this one. This truck could easily be restored to near factory condition with a little TLC a few minor cosmetic interior replacement parts from a LMC Truck Catalog. *May consider trades* Details: 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger Super Cab 2wd with a 460 CI 7.5 liter V8 and a 4bbl carburetor 3 speed automatic transmission Starts, runs and drives well Factory air conditioning, cruise control, power steering, brakes Complete original stock trim, lights, mirrors etc. Original split bench seats with cover Stock rear jump seats High speed rear axle (very smooth ride up to and in excess of hwy speeds) All lights and signals are working Solid long bed in great shape Overall quite clean spacious interior Sliding rear window Good tires Honest man's observations: There is a small low crack in the windshield that seems to have gone as far as it will be going (very common of western trucks, see picture) I went back and forth about whether to get an aftermarket tailgate, but decided to leave the original one on. It has a few dents and dings but it works well and is complete. Originally the Ford letters would have been painted white. I did not have the inside of the bed repainted because I planned on purchasing a bed liner to keep it nice and from getting beat up. The interior door panel on the driver's side door is complete (almost impossible to find an original on that is in one piece) but has been repaired in a few places. The other side is in great shape but is faded. A pair of matching replacements for both sides can be ordered for around $130 from LMC Trucks. Dash pad (like in all of these trucks) is cracked. Could easily be replaced as well. A few small dings Fake plastic chrome trim around window seals has faded....as usual. Both the front and rear bumpers are bent a little. Could be bent back straight with little effort. Unsure of actual mileage. The gentleman I bought it from said that he thought the miles were original but he couldn't be certain. The 460 was a good engine, and this one ran strong with no smoke so I was not concerned with how many actual miles it had on it. Gas mileage wasn't as bad as I figured it would be. Overall pretty original and complete for a truck of its age. These trucks are getting hard to find. Own a piece of Classic American history.
