Here is an example of a very rare Mercedes e320 Convertible! The car is finished in bright red paint with tan leather interior. I would consider this car as more of a driver than a show piece, but it still turns heads. This Benz starts up on the first try and runs and drives good. However it is not without fault, mostly cosmetic. The interior has seen better days. The sun has taken a toll on the seats, and they could use recovering or some nice seat covers. The center console has some broken wood by the ashtray area. The dash and door panels are in good shape. The exterior has been repainted a number of years back. Since then the rear bumper was tapped, replaced and repainted it matches nicely, however the chrome trim is missing. This Benz is equipped with real AMG 17" wheels, which are in good shape however, the car needs tires, badly...badly. The only known mechanical defects 1) a leak from a power steering hose up front. Power steering still works, it just leaks. I have not had it looked at, I just keep it filled 2) crack in the exhaust after the catalytic convertor, not very loud at all, just thought I would mention it. 3) driver's side front window does not work, I have not had it diagnosed. The motor has been replaced about 5 years ago with a 1997 motor with reciept. Much was done before install, I can email reciepts. The top was also replaced a few years back and is in very good shape, it works fine. I also have the reciept. There are no check engine/etc lights on the dash. The car is also equipped with a nice Alpine CD player and original speakers have been replaced. I'm sure the car could be driven a distance, but I would replace the tires before starting a journey. The current odometer reads about 126,000 and is incorrect. This is how I bought the car. I do not know the correct mileage. Basically this is your chance to get into a very rare, collectible Benz, that can be driven on a daily basis, while you restore it, if you chose to do so. If you chose to fly in and drive your new Benz home I will be happy to pick you up at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport.
