1959 Ford Galaxie Fairlane 500 is a 2-door, Hard Top. Original v-8 motor, Automatic tranny, runs and drives . Power Steering and power brakes. New carpet, seats are original and in reasonable condition as well as door panels and headliner. Has original tissue box holder under dash that still swivels out for easy access, very neat feature. All interior lights work. Just had brand new paint job done on it, color is original Colonial White, which car came with. I special ordered the paint for this car. 2 stage paint job isn't the best but it does look nice. Chrome is all there which looks good, but has pits here and there. All exterior lights work. All emblems are still on car. All windows there and roll up and down with ease. Doors shut perfectly!! Only rust issues are few small rust holes in spare tire carrier in trunk and very very little underneath front of hood; that is it. Floor boards are great. Trunk good too. There is an emblem on back of car that says "by Tasca". I researched this name online and found out that Tasca Motors was located in Providence, Rhode Island and this car was ordered from original owner, from that car lot. This car is a very beautiful cruiser, it gets lots of looks! Also, I am 3rd owner of vehicle. Elderly gentleman I bought it from didn't drive or tag since 1972. Have original title and registration card attached, dated 7/1/64 as the issue date.
