Vehicle Detail

If you are looking at this ad you most likely already know about the CB900, Honda's first superbike that had a low and high range transmision that gave the driver the option of 10 gear speeds. And trust me, this baby can fly! Bikes like this one come around only once in a while. You can find restored bikes that look like this one, or you may find bikes that sellers have put together from other bikes that might look nice, but to find a bike that has been loved and cared for the past 30 years by the original owner is really a rarity. This pampered family pet has been kept inside its entire existance. The paint shows no sign of sun fade, the chrome shines like new, the original pipes and exhaust are near mint, the seat is perfect...and the best thing is that it runs as good as it looks. I do need to point out a couple flaws on the tank. There are two dings that I tried to pop out and when I did it messed up one of the pin strips on the left side of the tank. It is hardly noticable but like I said, I wanted to mention it. Before the auctions ends I plan on taking the tank into a friends body shop to see it he can pop the dings out for me. You can see it on the photos of the tank I have placed on my photobucket site. s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss49/jwalte01/1982%20Honda%20CB900C%20Blue/ There is also a little tiny ding on the right side of the tank. Besides those two slight imperfections the bike is pristine....and only 5,500 original miles on the bike. I have not seen a CB900 Custom this nice since they first produced them back in the early eighties. I am a retired business man that has a passion for old Motorcycles . My son's and I are always looking for nice clean bikes that we can clean up, restore or maybe even ride and keep for awhile. But mostly we just enjoy the thrill of finding them and them passing them on to a collector like ourselves that will appreciate them as much as we do.visit us on our website:jwsdreammachines dot com We specialize nice Vintage Collectable JapaneseMotorcycles from the 60’s 70's and 80'sThis is one of them from our personal collection….. The is an Illinois bike and comes with a signed Illinois title from the original owner. Please, please, please be sure that you have the money to purchase the bike if you are bidding. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Keep in mind that this classic bike is 28 years old. Please remember that things always seem to look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. As I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you have the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
