Up for auction is my 1978 International Scout XLC 4X4 long wheel base. I purchased this truck from the original owner last year it even had the original title until I registered it in my name. This Scout is all original except the front seat were swaped out with scout brown seats with the same type pattern I do not know why and did not ask the owner. Brand new battery Runs and drives engine is good no smoke other than whats normal runs cool carb may need rebuild brakes are fair 4WD works good temp and gas gauge seem to be INOP exhaust has leaking donut gaskets so yes its a little loud but the rest of the dual exhaust is in good shape does not look very old you can drive this scout as is but I would not drive far unless it has been checked over tires have good tread but are dry rotted. This scout is equipped with the 345 V8, auto transmission, hi/low transfer case, trac lok rear axle, heavy spring package and factory class 3 hitch, PS PB, AMFM radio with power antenna that works, Tilt and cruise, sport stripes. Looks to have all its original paint so no hidden filler or damage it is very straight one very small ding in LF fender wont show in pics and a small crack in the grill. The tailgate open OK but does not latch right I took lots of pics to show the condition of this scout it has the typical rust but not terrible like alot of these are floors for the most part are good so are the doors and fenders glass is all good. There is rust in the outer floor supports, rear cargo area and front cab supports pretty normal rust. I also have the original line build sheet and warranty book. This is a really honest project please look at the pics carefully and ask all questions well before auction end it would not take much to make this scout a everyday driver. Thanks for looking!
