Vehicle Detail
Here is an awesome 1973 Honda Z50. This is a great little bike as all the pictures show! It's another one right out of my Vintage Honda Collection. This Z50 didn't have any major damages anywhere on it but the usual nicks, scratches, scrapes, and faded out paint. I decieded it was going to get fully restored back to it's new show room condition. The restoration turned out very nice as you can see. There were no corners cut and money was never an issue with this project. Everything on the entire bike was gone over, and it was done right. Here is a list of what was done in the restoration. I'll try not the leave anything out. All NEW: new decals, new tool kit, new tail light assmebly, new side cover, new front fender, new rear fender, new head light assembly, new head light bucket, new seat, new handle bars, new handle bar knobs, new grommets, new brake lever, new lever screw, new light switch, all new cables, new grips, new throttle assembly, new carburetor, new carb filter, new front and rear tires, new front and rear inner tubes, new bolts, new nuts, new tie wraps, new rear brake pedal, new heavy duty drive chain, new gear shifter shaft, new rubber fork boots, all new seals, new kick starter, new kick starter rubber, all new brake shoes, all new front and rear rims, all new brake springs, new chain adjusters, new air cleaner filter, all new gas line hoses, new clips, new headlight on/off switch, all new wheel barrings, new wheel seals, assembly, new rear shocks, new chain guard, new front fear seals, new front fork races, new sterring ballbearings, new sprockets, new coil, new petcock assembly, and more... The bike was bead blasted, professionally painted (kept original color). The bike looks beautiful. This bike looks better in person, than in pictures! The engine was totally disassembled and rebuilt by a professional motorcycle mechanic, who specializies in these little hondas! He has over 30 years experience at it and it shows! Every piece was taken apart including, spliting the center cases, and going over the whole entire transmisson as well. The following is a list of engine work performed: every gasket new, every O ring new, new spark plug, new spark plug boot, new coil, new intake and exhaust valve, new camshaft, new points, new condensor, new piston rings, new piston, new clips, new seals, new clutch plates, new springs, new cylinder honed, new tappet covers, new guides, new pins, new oil filter screen, new oil dipstick, new engine bolts, washers, nuts, cylinder head bead blasted, then painted with correct high temp paint, new left engine side cover, all enteral head parts replaced with new, such as, valves, seals, cotters, etc. etc. etc.. anything that was a little questionable was replaced with all new parts. There is probably much more new parts that I forgot to mention, but, you can see where I am going with this. There is only one small scratch that I could find on the bike, and that's on the far lower gas tank area. Not a big deal, at all. I don't have any idea how it got there. But, you really have to look to find it. This bike is in super condition as the pictures reflect. This little gem starts right up every time and has plenty of power. It shifts nicely through all its gears. There is no leaks, and no smoking. This is just a fun little bike in awesome condition, inside, and out. Everything on the bike works as it should. Any collector, or honda buff would be proud to own this cool little bike! This bike has been parked inside my home except for the few times it was driven around the neighborhood. It doesn't even have 15 minutes of riding time on it. It is like brand new and not even broken in yet! If your looking for a dynomite little Z50, then look no further, you found it here!! It is nice!
