Thanks for checking out my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering trades and off lease vehicles at no reserve auctions to the public. I am an honest seller and I describe each vehicle with full disclosure of all known faults if any exist. Any prospective buyer is welcome and encouraged to ask any questions at all. I want you to be as comfortable bidding as possible. Before you bid please make sure that all of your questions have been answered to your satisfaction, you have the money readily available to pay and you have considered the logistics of picking up your new vehicle or having it shipped. Selling on ebay is not cheap so please be sure you are completely sure you want to buy before placing a bid. Now on to the car... Here we have a great running 1996 Honda Accord. This one is a coupe and has the reliable 2.2L Vtec four cylinder engine and a manual transmission which makes this coupe very desirable. The engine is very reliable, makes great power and still achieves remarkable fuel economy. What makes this Accord a great find is that it appears to be completely rust-free! Anyone searching for an inexpensive used Honda knows that moderate to significant rear fender rust is almost a given...but not with this one! Check out the pictures and you won't see a spec of rust anywhere! The factory alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in good rubber all around. If you look closely at the pictures you will see that the paint seems faded on the hood, roof and trunk. This is fairly common with older Honda's. I took photos of everything so that you can see what I mean. Otherwise this car is in remarkable condition. Inside you will find this Accord loaded with options. Being an EX model, this one is equipped with power windows, power locks, power sunroof, COLD A/C, AM/FM stereo with tape and cruise control. Additionally, this one is equipped with leather interior and power drivers seat which is not common. The interior is in nice shape. The only flaw with the interior is a rip in the right side of the drivers seat cushion. The carpets and headliner are in good condition and the rest of the interior is clean. The stereo sounds great and the air blows ice cold. The trunk is clean and spacious, too. Mechanically is where this one shines! The 2.2L Vtec engine starts right up. It idles smooth and quiet without issue. The engine makes plenty of power and does not smoke or leak any fluids. I just ran it all over the place today and it drives perfectly. The engine keeps a nice, cool temperature and takes the car down the highway with minimal effort. The clutch is strong and the transmission just glides through the gears! There are no unusual shakes, wobbles or vibrations while driving. The ABS light comes on shortly after you start it up but the brakes feel very strong. It is PA inspected through 5/11. There is a tag in the engine bay noting that the timing belt and water pump were done right at 100k. The timing belt is an important service to have done and could be very costly if you buy a Honda that hasn't been serviced if the belt breaks on you. The next owner will love this Accord! It is everything you want in a used Honda! It is mechanically sound, well maintained and perfect miles. With proper care this one should go another 100k. This car is perfect for anyone who doesn't want to drop a ton of cash but needs a quick, reliable, economical and good looking car!
