Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very nice Honda CT70 HKO. This is a 1971, 4 speed manual clutch "H" model. This bike was purchased from the original owner in January of 2007. At that time the bike only had 291 documented miles on it, as the title reflects. This bike had an ignition problem and was therefore left parked in the back of a shed for over 38 years. It was an all original complete bike but was in need of some freshening up.The bike was completely disassembled and gone over. Here is a list of what was done. I hope I won't leave anything out. Here goes! ALL BRAND NEW: new frame decals, new side emblems, new chain guard decal, new tail light, new battery, new heavy duty seat cover, seat pan looks real nice, new seat buttons, new tool clip, tool kit that was never used, new passenger pegs, new complete throttle assembly, new handlbars, new handlebar knobs, new black tip levers, new front and rear sprockets, all new gray cables, new heavy duty DID drive chain, new front and rear tires, new front and rear tubes, new headlight assembly, all new bulbs, new headlight bucket, new horn button, new hi/low beam switch, new horn assembly, new steering head ball bearings-42, both grips new, new coil, new ignition with all new keys (this is what was defective on the bike and why it wasn't driven alot all those years ago), new exhaust gasket, new side grab rail handle, new top frame molding, new sprocket dampeners, new dust shield, new fork bushings, new fork seals, new light/indicator bulbs, new steering nut with new washer, new chain guard, new kick starter lever with new rubber, new main frame harness rubber, new front and rear sprockets, new gear shifter with new rubber, new battery strap, new upper rear shock covers, new wiring harness, all new wheel bearings, all new wheel seals, all new brake shoes, new fuel hoses with new clips, new steering head races both upper and lower, new brake springs, polished intake manifold and polished handlebar holder. I'm getting tired of typing here but you get the picture, lol... The frame, swingarm, fork assembly, chain guard, and upper shock caps, were all bead blasted, primer/etched/sealed and beautifully painted. It shows well. I always did love that color. The carburetor was totally rebuilt with lots of new parts. To name a few: new slow jet, new main jet, new needle set, new screw set, new spring washer, new air mixture screw, new o ring, new fuel screen, new carb switch packing, new float valve, new top set rubber, new pet cock packing, new bowl gasket, new screws, new adjustment screw sets with springs, new"W" spring, you get the idea. Everything. Now the powerplant. This engine was professionally rebuilt by a Honda mechanic who has over 30 years specializing with these motors. Its his life. This motor has all new (here we go again): new piston, new piston rings, clips, camshaft, spark plug, plug boot, coil, cam chain/timing chain, every gasket and every o ring all new, new intake/exhaust valves, new valve seal, caps, rocker arms, seats, ignition points, condensor, felt, clutch plates with new springs, all new seals, new left engine side cover, new tappet covers, cam roller with new tensioner, new bolt tensioner, new valve retainer spring, new oil dip stick, new oil drain plug, new oil filter screen, new shift fork pins, new stopper spring, cylinder honed. Anything that was in doubt at all was just replaced with new parts. Money didn't matter to me at all. The complete transmission was worked on as was the complete cylinder head. This engine runs so strong. It idles real smooth but can really get up and go for a 72 cc motor. This one runs GREAT!!! I would call this bike a "Beautiful Restored Rider". This bike is very nice but not perfect. It has some scratches, chips, and imperfections here and there but thats to be expected if your going to have fun and drive it all around. This is a great CT70H and anyone would be proud to own it. It starts right up everytime. It runs very good, has lots of power, shifts great, has no leaks and does not smoke. This is just a real blast to ride. When I got this Honda it had 291 miles on it. At that time the bike was restored. Now the bike has 352.8 miles on it. So it has 61 miles on it since the restoration. Those were easy miles but the bike was driven on the trails where there was dirt, rocks, and hills to climb so please don't expect mint because you ain't going to get it. This bike is for you to ride. This is a nice dependable trail 70 for you to cruise around on for many years to come. This motorcycle is street legal and comes to you with a title. It also has a set of chrome mirrors mounted on it for the road. If not using it for the road then just easily take them off and no harm done. This bike has a free and clear title to go with it. All it needs is you! If you have any negative feedbacks or less then 5 ebay transactions then please contact me to discuss this before you bid. No out of country inquires.
