Vehicle Detail

This a 1989 Toyota Landcruiser, FJ62, I purchased back in 2000 from an owner in New Hampshire. I used the LC for mostly the winter (driving in the snow), so it has kept the mileage low (I have put a little over 30k on it since I have owned). The vehicle runs well and starts right up. As the pictures indicate, it has a fair amount of rust and I don't have the time to invest in fixing the old beast (with kids keeping me busy). The engine has a rear main seal oil leak (fairly common problem from what I have read on the internet and basically it drips a very slight amount at the rear of the engine, has had it since I have owned it), but it is not really noticeable and hasn't caused a problem between oil changes. The 4 wheel drive system works well. I have had the brakes redone since I have owned it along with new tires, all fluids changed (besides changing the oil regularly with Full Synthetic). Put a new ignition coil in it last winter. The tires are Michelin Cross Terrains I had put on a year or two ago (can't have more than 5k miles on them)so. I have changed the oil with synthetic motor oil every 3 to 5k miles. The oil pan is fairly new as well as the radiator (refurbished by a local shop). The front windshield is new from last year. I have tried to take pictures that show the rust so there will be no surprises. I have a front fender for the driver's side, just haven't had time to put it on (a used fender painted to meet the color of the vehicle). There is rust whole in the rocker panel. There is rust on the rear wheel wells with penetration. The lower tailgate is in good shape (recent used purchase in good shape). Upper tail gate has some rust and one of the hinges looks like it was pulled a little bit (prior owner), but it fits well. The leaf springs are rusty. I have a used collector pipe for the exhaust system that needs to be installed since current one has a rusty flange at the O2 sensor. Only the driver side window works, currently, but I have tested the motors in the other doors with direct battery current and they work strong. Just the drivers side switch panel is a little screwed up so power isn't working as well to other windows (wires and switches may not be the best). Car is still registered and has passed the CT emission tests. Just needs some TLC or could be used for parts. It is still fun to drive and as mentioned before, starts right up and doesn't smoke. Again, never have had to add oil between oil changes. The engine, tranny, and transfer case are strong. A/C works well. Will miss it, but don't have the time for it with the family. Please let me know if you have questions. Have fun! The bidder shall be responsible for any shipping or transportation to their location.
