Vehicle Detail
This Mustang is being relisted due to a bidder who never contacted me after winning the auction. Please only bid if you have...a) have the funds immediately available for the vehicle, b) have the means to come pick up/ship the car, c) have recieved answers to all your questions about the car to your complete satisfaction and d) feel completely comfortable buying online. These few conditions will prevent many problems down the road for us. I am an honest person with bills to pay. Please only bid if you can/will buy this car. Thank you. Up for auction today is my 1993 Mustang LX Convertible. I bought this car a few months ago because I always wanted a convertible fox car. I am a wholesaler but I bought this off of a private seller. This one caught my attention because of its above average condition. To my knowledge this car has not been in any accidents. The miles have not been rolled back. Odometer recording issues are common in cars with 5 digit odometers. If you want a thorough explanation of how this happens just email me and I will be happy to go through the process. According to autocheck, it looks like someone didn't report the odometer reading accurately when it turned over 100k. The correct miles are 152,000. I am selling because I am running out of storage space. This car is definitely a keeper. I recently sold one of my two t-top projects and now the drop top has to go. I have a t-top in my garage that I will not part with. I have owned many cars in my life including an '03 Cobra, a '93 Cobra, a '95 Cobra and a V12 Mercedes roadster. I get more looks in this car than any of them. On the body, there isn't much bad to say. The white paint looks great and has a nice shine to it. The white ponys look great as well. There is a light curb hit on the front passenger wheel which has been touched up and is barely visible unless you're kneeling down right at it. There are a few scuff marks on the front bumper which have been touched up but are still visible (see pictures). You have to push the drivers door handle down a little to open it, which is very common to these cars. On the deck lid there is a Cobra spoiler. There is a steel bolt on hood up front. On the hood, there is a hair line crack in the paint near the nose. I have been able to find absolutely no rust, anywhere! The top is in great shape. It has never leaked on me. There are no rips anywhere on it. The curtain is nice and tight and the glass is in excellent shape as well. The top goes up and down quickly and without any help needed. Inside the car you will find a very nice interior. There are no rips in the seats at all! The inside liner of the top is still very nice. The carpets are very clean and have no major rips or stains in them. Of course, the ash tray door doesn't work quite right. The door pockets are starting to sag and the arm rest doesn't latch all the time. All these are very common to these cars. I think the drivers seat is a little off but maybe it's just me...All electronics work except, you guessed it, the power locks. The air conditioner blows ice cold air that will make your eyes water. The car also comes with the original boot for the top and the original owners manual. Mechanically, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. It starts up every time and idles very well. There is never any smoke through the tail pipes. There are no leaks that I have seen either! The AOD transmission is nice and tight, too. The tires all have plenty of tread. Other than the exhaust, an open filter and a 70mm throttle body I believe this car is all stock. It's getting harder and harder to find nice clean Mustangs like this. I have the factory throttle body and intake. Any interested persons are welcome and encouraged to ask any questions they may have prior to bidding. If you are local to York, PA I welcome personal inspections, too. Please bid to own. This is one of the nicest fox cars I have seen in a while and it should make its new owner very happy. There is also an alarm that works with the factory remote. Thanks for looking and good luck! The pictures speak for themselves. All auctions are subject to a $99 administrative fee.
