I am in possession of a CARFAX report dated July 2007 (time of purchase) that states the truck was in a minor to moderate rear impact with another vehicle on 3/12/2001. Any damage appears to have been repaired very well, as there is no evidence of damage/repair. At the time of purchase, the Toyota dealer indicated that the damage must have been minor, because the original tailgate appears to be on the truck. All photographs in this listing were taken on the afternoon of Sunday, October 17, 2010 after a quick wash and vacuum. I am in possession of a clean, clear, Ohio title that is ready to be signed over to the winning bidder. Highlights -Dark blue exterior w/ dove gray cloth interior -Ice cold air conditioning -Factory keyless entry & security system -Power windows (with driver auto-down feature), power door locks & power mirrors -Factory am/fm/cassette/CD replaced with OEM am/fm/cassette/CD from a 2001 Toyota (see photo - looks factory correct and sounds better than 1997 unit) -Cruise control -Tilt steering wheel -Alloy wheels -Sliding rear window -Running boards -Factory Toyota bed liner -Trailer hitch Recent service (August 2010) -New battery installed. Electrical system checked & found to be in proper working order. Recent service (July 2010) -Oil change -Front brakes replaced -A/C charged Repairs completed (work orders in owner’s possession) in July of 2007 while truck had 168,200 miles (by C&C Dodge/Toyota in Marietta, OH): -Timing belt replaced -Head gaskets replaced -Fan clutch replaced -New water pump installed -Thermostat replaced -Radiator flushed -Two tires replaced (I believe both rear tires, as they have more tread at present than front tires) Known issues -The CHECK ENGINE light is ON (see photo). Oxygen sensors may be bad causing the light to be on. A repairman told me the problem could also be a bad catalytic converter. I have not investigated the light further, as neither potential problem seems to affect the operation of the truck. -Vehicle has minor bumps, dings, etc. that are common on a 13-year old Toyota. -The paint is thin in areas (could not get to show up in photographs). In particular, there are areas on both doors where the paint is weak. The hood has a wear mark from a bug shield that was on the vehicle when I purchased it in 2007. -A small amount of rust (see photos) is beginning over the passenger side rear wheel opening (not bad for a 13-year old Toyota T-100 truck, but should be addressed). -Driver’s side power window occasionally operates slowly when closing -Leather steering wheel wrap is damaged and covered with aftermarket wrap -Previous owner may have smoked inside vehicle as there are a few burn marks on the front and rear seats/seat backs. Also, the door panels show possible wear from burn marks. -Interior door panel wear is consistent with 13-year old Toyota T-100 (see photos). -Small (less than size of tip of pen) chip in windshield. -Tailgate handle could use lubrication as it has to be manually pushed in when closing the tailgate in order to securely fasten the tailgate.
