Up for auction is my 1995 BMW 318i. It has the 1.8 4 cylinder engine and an automatic transmission that has the option to shift it manually if desired. The car has 176,000 miles and it runs great. The engine doesn't leak or burn any oil and the transmission still shifts like new. The manual top is in good shape with no holes or tears and it does not leak. About 6 months ago all 4 tires and rims were replaced along with a new battery, thermostat, front brakes, viper alarm, aftermarket exhaust, and a few other small things. The interior is really clean and the leather seats are in good shape for their age. All of the power options work including the windows, locks, and mirrors. There are no cracks in the windshield and the heat blows nice and hot. The body doesn't have any dents but there are a few small spots of rust on the bottom of both doors and on the bottom of the front passenger side fender. The hood is starting to fade in the middle but it's not to bad. It looks like a good wet sanding or wax job would help. You cant even tell it's faded when it's wet. The car runs and shifts great but it does need two new struts installed on the front. The good news is we already purchased them and they will go to the high bidder, they just need to be installed. The only other things I can think of that it needs is a brake pad sensor for the drivers side front caliper to tell when the brake pads are going low and a piece of door moulding for the back passengers side to protect the car from other doors/shopping carts etc... Also the a/c doesn't work. I think the bearings in the compressor need to be replaced. If you have any questions or if you would like to see the car in person feel free to ask.
