'03 911 Turbo - great condition/ loaded - Carbon fiber, Bose stereo, supple leather, sport seats-heated, sun roof, electric mirrors, doors and windows. Here's what the others selling 996 Turbo's are not telling you, 996 Turbo's have 2nd gear syncro problems. (see sixspeedonline dot com). It makes the car difficult if not impossible to shift to 2nd gear. Almost every Turbo has this flaw and it gets worse with miles. I had my syncro's replaced and upgraded, no further issues. I have also had a new clutch installed 2000 miles ago. If you are buying a Turbo and it has not had a new clutch and has over 20,000 miles you will be buying one soon. New Clutch cost = $6,000. New syncro's Cost = $5000. I have also had new tires put on it 500 miles ago, (Hankook), along with new brakes, a brake fluid flush and an oil change. Simply put; everything works and this car does not have issues, and it won't for the forseeable future unlike alot of the other cars on Ebay. The car was inspected by Rizza Porsche last week and had the heat shield tightened, and the radio code put in, (have not driven it much and the battery drained), other than those two items the car is in great shape per Rizza. It has not been in any accidents, (clean Carfax). I am the second owner and have owned it since 2008. After the money I have put into it why am I selling it so cheap? Simple; the wife will not let me have a new toy, ('08 Turbo), until I sell the one in the garage, (but she didn't say what I should sell it for:)
