First and foremost: you find a better one than this one! All that was needed, was done and it's almost ready to be someone else's beauty! For sale is a VW Volkswagen Rabbit diesel, WVO conversion. It's been taken apart completely (see pictures from purchase to current state) and all metal work has been done, repainted in the original color. Runs and drives, gearbox upgraded to 5 speed for the best possible MPG which should be upwards of 50mpg! If you brew your won WVO, you could get that mileage at about $1 per gallon. Imagine that! Lots of spare parts like 2x 4-speed gearboxes, extra set of front doors, seats, glow plugs etc, too many misc parts to list. All parts, except for 4 tires and some small parts, are there to finish this project in a week or so. A Haynes manual for Rabbit diesels comes with it. I am moving out of the area into the city (Chicago). The car is currently stored. This was going to be our toy project but I will have no space to park it in the city and more importantly I will not be able to brew my own WVO. I am sorry to have to let it go but have lots of fun on this project already. Over 4K, without counting my numerous hours invested and willing to take a small loss, to know that my efforts will make someone else the happy owner of this great vehicle!
