You see what the car has: RELIABLE, quick 6-CYL engine running great, fine leather, original AM/FM Cassette with wiring in trunk to add CD, COLD AIR (even in S.C. summer), added AMG wheels. ived in Texas, Georgia and South Carolina...no snow or salty roads. Here's what it needs: repair leak in hydraulic to raise and lower soft top, frame for rear view, new ininglass for soft top, canvas OK, front left speaker cracked, new tires. Might fix: scratch on hood (shown) poorly repaired by previous owner, cracked left side light lens. To the best of my knowledge and experience and that of my mechanic, that is all the downside. The upside is 100-200,000 more trouble-free miles at a bargain price. I have one two many cars. Reserve is absurdly low. PLEASE check Blue Book, NADA or Edmunds. Then look for comparables on cars.com or AutoTrader. This is a good deal.
