This is a Chevrolet Bubble top car converted from a 1961 to a 1962 Belair. It started out as a 6 cylinder manual trans car. The front clip and rear panels are from a 1962 Belair model. The top remained the same as it came from the factory. The VIN # 11737F131010. The tag on the firewall: Trim 373 Body FC 10456 Style G11837 Paint 900. This car could easily be converted back to its original 1961 version if one wanted to. I had plans to build a pro-street car as shown in picture but plans have changed and must now sell the car. The car has had most of the bodywork done and is in primer. The hood, trunk lids and doors are excellent. The rear quarters are new. The fenders need some work, and have two extra fenders for it. The floors have been patched. The trunk needs some work as do the rear innner wheels wells. Seats are there but need reuphostery. Front glass need replacement, no rear window. Has glass and regulators in rear passenger sides but no glass in front passenger's side. The bumpers are excellent. Have most stainless exterior mouldings. This car is a rolling chassis with manual steering, rearend and driveshaft. The bumpers are in great shape. This car is being sold with a bill of sale. Great fun project car with a lot of work already done. Selling cheap!!! This is a no reserve auction, and is also for sale locally for a price of $5,000. firm.
