Vehicle Detail
Beautiful 2004 Ford F150 Extended Cab, 4X4, XLT, 5.4L Triton V8 This is a very nice and well kept up ford. How do I know? Well because I am the original owner! I bought this truck brand new from Richmond Ford in Richmond, Va back in May 2004. Ya I was a sucker and I couldn't resist this beautiful new design that ford had come out with. I couldn't believe how much better this truck drove, how much better it handled, how much quieter it was inside than my 2000 model ford F150 I had previously. This truck has been in Virginia all its life except for around 14 months ago I moved to Florida where it is currently. I really like this truck and don't want to sell it but, because of financial responsibility and being impractical at this stage in my life I must sell it. As you can see in the pictures of the logbook I tried to change the oil within the three to five thousand range except for a period where I used the schaufuer oil, which was designed to go longer between oil changes. I only used Motorcraft oil and oil filter for the rest of the oil changes. I just installed a new battery (yes a cheap one from walmart) but I have the receipt and it has a one year warranty. At around 100,000 miles I replaced the axle seals in the rear end with new motorcraft seals and new motorcraft rear end oil. I also just put new brake pads on the rear. The front brakes are the original and are still good for quite a while. I put new tires on at 94,000 miles of march '09 (an yes that was 94,000 miles on the original tires) so these tires have 20,000 miles on them and they should go another 50,000 miles or so (if you rotate them regularly). I also changed the transmission fluid at 64,000 miles. I really tried to take good care of this truck but still at 113,000 miles and six and a half years things happen and there is just general wear and tear. This truck has never been wrecked or had an insurance claim on it. As you can see in the pictures there are a couple minor dents, the one on the driver's side door is the most noticeable one (thanks to an irresponsible shopper who left there shopping cart uphill of my truck), the other on the hood is barely noticeable. There are a couple of minor scratches and the most noticeable is the front bumper which has places where the acid from bug juice has eaten the paint a little. It sounds bad but you really can't see it all that well unless you get real close. The interior is in real good shape as well. There is one stain on the rear seat but I may be able to scrub it out. There are no rips on the seats. I will try to let the pictures speak for themselves. There is a minor problem with the four wheeled drive but I think I can fix it myself and it could use some new front rotors. I also very rarely took this truck off road and when I did I avoided the mud and took it easy! I must tell you about the few extras that I had put on this truck. It has a spray in bedliner (the one the dealer recommended), I put the chrome running boards on it, and it has true dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and stainless steel tips, and also I installed a high flow K&N air filter. This truck sounds really nice and its not to loud and its not to quite. This truck features power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, Am/Fm/CD player, remote keyless entry and keyless entry key pad, sliding rear window, trailer tow package, mechanical shift-on-the-fly four wheeled drive, and much more. This truck will serve you well for many miles to come and make you look good while your at it!
