Up for auction is a 1968 Pontiac Firebird i bought this car with hopes of restoring it back to its former glory but things have come up and i must sell it so my loss is your gain. this car is a project or parts car which every you would like to use it for it is going to need a complete restoration if you fix it. i decoded the trim tag and here is all the information about that, BODY BY FISHER 01 C ST 68- 22637 LOR 14536 BODY TR 259 G2 PAINT 1968 Pontiac Firebird Coupe with Custom Trim Option The paint was April Gold with Black vinyl top. The trim color and material were Black Custom Option Vinyl. This car has the Fisher Body Unit Number 14,536 built in the 3rd week of January at the Lordstown, Ohio plant I think this is sort of a rare car because this car has Disc brakes on the front and only a few had this i think it had A/C too but not 100% sure.There are no motor or tranny that come with this car, you will get a bill of sale only as i did when i bought it no title.as you can see in all the photo the car is going to need work i can see where the filler is coming out of it from prior body work.The doors open and close nicely. you get all the extra parts shown in the one photo it has a brand new rocker panel, the extra fender as with the ones on the car are not in good shape. The rear frame rails look good from what i can see this was a big reason why i bought it, the trunk also does not look to bad i can see where a small part of it was patched at one time, the floors look like they have been replaced at one time not very well done in my opinion. sorry for all the pictures but i wanted you to get a good idea of what the car looks like. this is not a complete car , some of the glass is there but not all of it, the door glass is there. this car is going to need alot of body work and time and effort you are buying it as is where is. this description is not to be taken as gospel i may have missed something so your just buying it that way if you have any questions please ask don't assume anything. a 200.00 dollar non refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end and the balance must be paid in full on pick up, car must be picked up within 3 weeks of auction end unless other plans are made with me prior to auction end. ***vehicle was missing vin number when I acquired it.
