Up for auction is a 1984 GMC K3500 one ton dump truck. The acual milage on the cap is not the true milage as the cab was replaced with a solid Texas cab by the previous owner. At the time the cab was replaced, the motor (small block 350) was rebuilt and is strong as ever. I just did a pan gasket, oil change, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. The cab has a little surface rust below the doors, but nothing major. The job box behind the cab needs the lower bottoms replaced, and could be done without to much trouble with a welder and some sheet steel. The door on the pass. side of the box is inside the box and not in the photo. The truck bed(dumpbed) is pretty solid, but does have a few holes toward the front that would eventually need repaired. The rest of the bed is structurally solid. The dump works great and will lift 4 ton with no prob. The frame Has one crack behind the job box that has been there for the six years that i have had it, but i never got around to fixing it. It would probably need to be repaired, but it has never gotten any bigger. The tires(cooper discovery) are about 65%. The drivers side tire does not match the other five, but is still good shape. The interior is in good shape, the seat is pretty nice with no rips. The headliner is still intact and not falling down. The power windows work, but go up and down slowly, i think the reg. need replaced. Heat, wipers, lights, and turn signals all work, but the radio is shot. Outback, there is a 2" reciever and a welded on pintle hitch. The truck is wired for a brake controller, but power is not run to the actual control unit. This is a 4 spd(low 1, 1st, 2nd, 3rd) with a high low transfer case. The cab was from an automatic truck, so it still has the trans shift on the columb, but the manual shift is on the floor.
