1966 gto 242 vin real gto. PHS documented car. The car has complete new drivetrain front to back. The engine is pontiac 462 stroker, dual quads, edelbrock aluminum heads, eagle h beam rods ect. proffesionally built. Trans is turbo 400 with tci 2500 stall converter, new driveshaft, and 12 bolt posi gm rear with 4.56 gears also proffesionally built. Entire drivetrain has 400 miles on it and all new autometer gauges installed at the same time. The car has new wiring harness throughout and new fuel tank and sending unit. The car runs and drives great also has new steering and suspension including springs throughout as well as 4 wheel disc brakes, new lines and master cylinder, stops very good, very tight car. The interior is all matching and very nice, however the headliner seems to be original and would need to be redone to be perfect. The body is very straight on the car, however it is not a show quality paint job and it has some bubbles and cracks on the drivers rear qaurter as shown in the pictures. I was told by a body person that this was due to poor prep work when it was painted from possibly an earlier repair. Overall it looks very good but would need some work to be show quality, the frame has been redone and looks very nice.
