We are the second owner of this right-hand drive 1965 Lotus Elan S2. The original owner brought this car from England and it was the pride of his collection until he became disabled and sold it to us. We have pictures of him accepting delivery in 1965. It has a 1500cc Twin Cam engine with 48,000 original miles. It is British Racing Green with a black interior. There is a custom burl wood dashboard made by Rolls Royce. The steering wheel is handmade. The tonneau cover and convertible top are in good condition. There is a small tear in the rear section of the convertible top. Five Dunlop SP20 tires (including spare.) Two Weber carburetors. Paint is poor; chipped and spidered Fiberglas in places. All original interior shows signs of age, with some tearing of upholstery at the corners of the seat backs. Car runs strong; prefers cool weather like in its country of origin. Additional pictures available upon request. Car is sold as is, where is, with no warranty. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer, but we will assist in any way possible. We can recommend a cross-country hauler with enclosed trailer.
