Click Images To Enlarge There not much else to say about this 1996 Range Rover SE Sport Edition other than what a SWEET RIDE it is....I've never ridden in a tank but a military buddy of mine tells me the Range Rover is pretty darn close. If you want safety and comfort for all passengers then this is your vehicle, nothing except an 18 wheeler or mack truck is going to do more than put a dent in this incredible well made Luxury SUV. I have personally owned this vehicle for 8 months and I hate giving it up but the wife says she wants something smaller and well you know who wins that battle....my loss is your gain..... It runs and drives great, has plently of power, accelleration and of course amazing 4x4 off-road abilities. The body is in good shape and is major-dent free, but there are few paint blemishes and minor scratches. The Interior is all Leather seating that is fully powered, heated, and multi-programmable to individuals user setting preferences. The carpet isnt worn out and shows some use-wear, but has no holes or major stains. I could go on and on and on and on about all of the super cool features like the huge fully retracting sunroof, automatically adjusting drivers side mirror, power everything, programmable heated premium leather seats, air-ride suspension...but hey, if you've read this far you already know what you want so lets get to what you really need to know.... There are 3 things that stand-out as immediatley needing work but that do not detrimentally affect the overall performance and functionality. 1 - Cracked Winshield - Fortunately the crack isn't major and forms a perfect 'T' crack right down the middle and along the very top..It doesn't affect your driving or passengers vision and I was told by a glass guy that it wont crack any further. So, if you're into cosmetics then fix it, if not, then you're fine and dont worry about it. 2 - Headliner - Its falling down in the middle and needs to be replaced, I've got thumbtacks in it now, so again, if you're into how it looks rather than how it runs, then its a cheap $50 Fix, I'm lazy and im not into looks, so I used some thumbtacks... 3 - Electrical Fuse Box - This is the BIGGEST fix you'll have to contend with, but again its a matter of cosmetics and how you will choose to use the vehicle that will determine if you need to fix it....the main fuse box has burned one area out where the fuse relay connectors plug in that controlls that blower for the A/C and for the 4x4 traction/cruise control (TC). The A/C works and blows COLD it just does not blow very hard...The 4x4 TC light is always on and the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel are unresponsive...I suspect its due to the fuse box burn out....the rest of the fuses in the box work just fine so its once again a matter of what you care about....I can open a window if I get uncomfortable and didnt need cruise control as I wasn't doing any long highway driving. The 4x4 TC still shifts into gear and works great off-road but you get a warning light that looks more scary than what it actually stands for. **** So, there are you, it all depends on what you are going to do with this vehicle....if you want to flip-it for a nice profit you can easily do that with some minor repairs....if not youre getting a great running, powerful, high-end, performance, feature packed, luxury SUV for a great price! THANKS FOR BIDDING !!! Below are the Promotional/Marketing Details... Pedigree means everything when you are at the top of the Luxury SUV market and there is no other luxury SUV that has more pedigree, class and head turning looks than the Range Rover. From a luxury perspective, it's probably the most elegant and distinctive utility vehicle on the market because they must be custom ordered from the factory and are made in very Limited numbers. Being #1 means commanding a Premium High Dollar price and that keeps all but the very rich from buying a New Range Rover -- a fact that only adds to the gotta-have-it appeal of this elite 4x4 vehicle. It is a rare opportunity for the average joe buyer to get his hands on the chance to own such a great vehicle one so dont miss out on this chance.... The Range Rover is a five-passenger luxury SUV available with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. A permanent four-wheel-drive system is standard on all Range Rovers, along with low-range gearing and nearly 11 inches of maximum ground clearance. The standard Terrain Response system allows the driver to customize powertrain, suspension and electronic stability and traction systems to best handle five predetermined off-road conditions. It employs unibody construction (instead of body-on-frame architecture) and a fully independent suspension (instead of solid axles). These changes make all the difference when cruising on pavement, as the Range Rover now delivers the composed ride and secure handling expected of a true luxury SUV. The Cabin design is a mix of traditional and modern in the Range Rover. The upright seating position, blocky dash and large steering wheel evoke the feeling of an old-school Land Rover, while supple leather seats (with contrasting piping), walnut inlays and a navigation system with both on- and off-road mapping assure you that this is indeed a contemporary luxury vehicle. The cabin, like the exterior, manages to be both retro and modern at the same time. A roomy rear seat makes it possible to carry a pair of adults or three children in back, and cargo room enough to do alot of shopping or man stuff hauling. If you're looking for a premium SUV that can handle all of your daily driving needs on any terrain and come with unparalleled off-road abilities for when you want to play.....well, the Range Rover is an obvious choice.
