Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE ! It has to go ! 1970 Chevelle Malibu convertible. It is a factory 4spd- not a rock crusher, 350 engine. The pad numbers are not readable on the engine so I cannot say if it is original. I haven't looked for a build sheet or done much of anything other than park it in the barn. I intended on cloning it into an LS6 but need to sell it for the $$$$. My loss is your gain, I hate to sell this car. I looked a long time for a restorable 4spd convertible - years, and now I have to sell it. The car is complete but will need restoration. The frame has a few rust areas on it, most panels will need replacement or patching. I wasn't concerned with the condition, all things can be repaired or replaced on these cars. It is not driveable at this time, the engine has not been run in a while and I have never tried to start it. Clutch works and car rolls thats all I can tell you. This car finished will bring big dollars or a lot of enjoyment, I have had 6 other chevelles and loved them. I need to sell ASAP and have it for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early. Cash talks but don't insult me I know what this cars potential and value are. Also, if your just going to email me saying it isn't worth anything or you can get one somewhere else cheaper then buy the other one. This one is the real deal and I want someone to buy it that will appreciate it the way I do. Serious replies only, thanks. I am also including a complete matched 12 bolt rearend and front disc setup, these two items alone are worth around $1500. Anyone is welcome to look at it. Sold as is where is. On Oct-07-10 at 11:19:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Just so everyone knows I had it sold for $10500 but the deposit check bounced and there were a ton of excuses so its back up here for sale. The pics up are what I have available I am not able to get back to the car this week. Trunk is intact may need some work in the corners. everyone asks - does the trunk need replacing, does the floor need replacing, how good of shape is the doors can I fix them. I DONT KNOW. If you are a good bodyman you will be able to fix everything, if not then you will have to replace everything thats why I put it needs restoration. If your looking for a car that you can buy for 10K stick 5K in it and have a car worth 40 or 50k this is not it. It needs work. If your a dreamer and maybe kinda sorta are thinking about it but not sure and just want a bunch of information on what could be done then its probably not for you and I quite frankly don't have time to explain how to restore a car to you. I don't want this to sound like I am being an ass but enough of the wanna be lookers. If your serious so am I, if not move along. Thank you.
