1985 VW GTII have owned this car for about 10 years and am sorry to have to part with her, but I am moving and can not bring her with me. So this is my loss. Hopefully someone will get as much fun out of her as I have. Black exterior with the blk/gray Recaros. Body has some door dings on passenger side from on street parking. The car is not a show car, but it is a fantastic driver. It is the original paint, although it is not perfect. Mechanically the car is in like new condition. It spent most of the last three years, since my second son was born, in the garage as a way to step aside and have dad time. So I have enjoyed the slight restorative project it has been. It has had a serious re-vamp of its fuel system, ignition system, and drive system. All of which have less than 100 miles on them. The Good Stuff:2.0L 8V block and head installed 32,000 miles ago with new motor mounts. TT tuning Stainless downpipe with 55mm, high flow TT exhaust system. TT high flow catalytic converter, and a borla muffler,as well as the master cylinder and radiator were installed with motor. Kent adjustable cam gear. High flow air box. Autotech upper strut stress bars, front and rear. Bilstein sport struts. H&R sport springs. 16x7 5 star wheels with new 205/45-16 Dunlop tires. Momo Steering Wheel w/ Karmen horn button. Momo Shift Knob. Power Recaro Seats. Alpine head unit w/Alpine 5 channel amp. 12 inch sub. Autotech short shift kit. New windshield. New driver's side wiper arm. New windshield washer tubing. Febi/bilstein manual steering rack. new ball joints. New GTI half shafts. The New Stuff: within the last 100 miles. New Sachs clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing. New rear brake pads, new brake fluid. New Mobile 1 synthetic lubricants in engine and trans-axle. Fuel system is brand new: Bosch fuel accumulator, Bosch fuel filter, fuel check valve, Bosch fuel pressure regulator, re-manufactured fuel distributor by Fuel Injection Corp. Ignition system is brand new: Bosch Distributor w/ hall sender, Bosch coil, ICU, ignition switch, NGK plugs, Bosch wires. The Bad: Drivers door panel got wet a long time ago and the bottom of the backing board is a bit soft in one place. The headliner is beginning to fall over drivers mirror. Other than this the interior is very good shape. There is no implied or written warranty for this vehicle. It is being sold as is, and is for sale locally.
