64 Galaxie 390 4V 4 speed car. Has power steering, Bucket seats , console ,XL trim and 9 inch rear end with 3:50 gears. By the vin its not a true XL car, but has all the XL trim on it .No door tag so can not get the info off it. Its a True 390 4V (z-code) looks like it was a 3 speed manual tranny on the column , but somebody put top loader 4 speed in it. Motor is out but looks complete. It was out when I bought it 2 years ago . Guy I got the car from told me it was a running car but he wanted to Beef up (his words) the motor ,so he pulled it, but never done anything to it. Sat in his Garage for about 6 years, motor always been covered and I know its not stuck.It looks untouched. Not sure what the tranny is from ,it was in the car when last owner got it. All I know its a big block top loader 4 speed. still in the car linkage and a hurst shifter still hooked to it. The bellhousing-fly wheel , fork -- Ext.. is in the trunk (see pics for those parts) Not pictured is the starter but have it and will go with the car. Still has good paint on it. I did notice a bad spot in the paint on front of hood on left side of car (see pics) Also on tail panel on right side looks like it was dented a little then worked out (see pics) its not real bad.Could use better hood hinges. The Body is solid as a rock ,I did not see any rust or any body panel repairs and its not full of bondo. Does need the windsheild replaced . Will need Interior work-but looks complete except missing radio. I do have a good title for it. When I bought it I thought it be a neat car to build with the 390 4v 4 speed with 3:50 gears in a 9 inch rear end. But I have WAY to many projects going on ,so I am thinning them out. Please only serious bidders. I am open to a buy it now. Anybody is welcome to come by or send somebody by to look at the car. I do have a way to load the motor if needed or I can set it down in the motor compartment for the ride home if needed. But of course being a 64 steering column does not lock up -so dont need keys to steer it, rolls good.
