Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Cadillac Seville STS with only 115,000 miles. This Caddy will need a little bit of attention and is perfect if you know your way around cars or know someone who does. I describe my listings with complete honesty and full disclosure of everything I know. I am an auto wholesaler offering select vehicles to the public. The exterior of this car looks good. It is finished in a great looking dark red color with factory chrome wheels. There are a few scuffs on the front bumper, a light scratch that runs along the drivers side and a small piece of exposed metal at the rear of the passenger rear fender. Other than that, the outside looks great. Please look at the pictures carefully. Feel free to ask any questions. On the inside, this car is loaded. The crème leather interior looks fantastic contrasted against the deep red interior. The shifter handle is worn and the dye is coming off of the steering wheel at the top. There is minor wear on the armrest and on the cloth where the drivers door opens. There is a CD changer in the trunk although I have not tested it. The stereo system sounds great. There are two sets of keys and one factory remote. In addition to power windows and locks, there are also power seats, sunroof and garage entry. The seats, carpets and headliner are in good shape. Mechanically the car is sound. The engine is extremely clean and runs quietly and smoothly without any smoking or leaks. The 4.6L Northstar engine makes great power. The transmission engages and shifts smooth and precisely. There is a lot of potential in this car. Overall there is lots of potential here. There is a small piece hanging under the car that looks to be a hanger for the emergency brake. This can be seen in the picture. What can’t be seen in that picture is that there is some light rust on the undercarriage, including a small hole in the floor panel from when the cable hanger broke off. I think repairing the hanger will fix the hole so it’s not bad…I just want to be honest. It sounds like there is a small hole in the exhaust in the middle pipe. Also, it looks like the rear of the car is sitting a little low, too. It may be just me…use the pictures to judge for yourself. In the instrument cluster there are two messages. It says, refrigerant low…compressor off and stability reduced. The ABS light is on and so is the traction light. I just had it out the other day and it drove well. The brakes are solid, it drives strait without any shaking or vibration. The dangling metal hanger makes some noise but other than that, there are no issues. With only 115,000 miles, this car has tons of life left. It won’t take much to get her back up to snuff. I am selling with no reserve so bid what you think it’s worth.
