PLEASE NOTE; This is a complete running truck, but presently it needs a fuel pump and will have to be winched on a trailer or towed. 1952 Chevrolet 1 ton with hoist, the box is 9 feet in length, the boards in the box are pretty rotten and there is a hole in the boards as noticed on the pictures, the box itself is very solid, the top of it is nice and straight because being a former farm truck it had wooden racks on it for hauling grain probably from day one, the end gate is missing, the fenders on the box and stake pockets are good and solid, the rims on the truck are 8 bolt and 17" in diameter, the tires are 7:50 x 17 and 7;00 x 17, they're pretty dried out, but they do hold air, the truck has been sitting for 4 or 5 years, there is a spare rim and tire of the same size, but that tire is shot on it, the cab is mostly solid, the only rust issues are the cab corners and the floor on the interior of the passenger side, one rust hole on the driver side floor right next to the power take off lever, the glass in the windshield is cracked quite badly especially the passenger side, the seat and frame in the interior is not too bad, it's out of an International truck and I have the original frame and seat that goes with and belongs to this truck, the electrical is 6 volt, the battery is not real strong, but there, the cover in the floor for the battery is missing, according to the former owner, the hoist does work well, but I hadn't been able to keep the truck running to try it out. I had removed the gas tank and blew the lines out to get rid of the old fuel and put in some new gas, the truck will start and run, but only 'til the carb is empty, the engine is an inline 6 cyl with a 4 spd manual transmission. Hopefully I have enough pictures to get an idea of what I'm offering here, lots of good and usable parts if nothing else for anyone restoring a truck like this. I'm interested in serious bidders only, please don't bid if you can't fulfill the transaction, I don't have time for the games. In return I will offer outside storage in an enclosed, fenced and secure area to the winning bidder until spring of 2011 (if required) 'til arrangements can be made to pick it up, I will do whatever I can to assist in the loading, but all shipping costs incurred will be the responsibility of the buyer.
